Is Aus Limo actually Australian?

Aussie-founded, Miami-based. The company behind the wheel is Miami Taxi Services LLC, a licensed Florida operator in Miami, and the service was started by an Australian expat who got tired of watching fellow travellers get carved up at the taxi rank after a 24-hour journey. The drivers are South Florida professionals; the attitude is imported.

Do I tip the driver? We do not really do that at home.

Accepted Answer

We know, and you are on holiday from it. Gratuity is genuinely optional with us: you can add a tip during online checkout if the service earns it, or add nothing and nobody will sigh at you. Your quoted fare is the full price of the ride either way.

Question 3

What happens if my flight from Australia is delayed?

Accepted Answer

Nothing bad. Give us your flight number and we track the whole journey, including your US connection. Your driver adjusts to the actual arrival time, and international pickups include 60 minutes of free waiting after landing, which covers customs and baggage on all but the most chaotic days. No extra charges for a late plane.

How do I find my driver at MIA or FLL?

Once you clear customs and collect your bags, your driver is waiting in the arrivals hall with a name board. You also get the driver's name, photo, phone number and vehicle details by SMS and email before pickup, so there is no wandering the kerb squinting at number plates.

Are your prices really fixed? No surge?

Accepted Answer

Fixed means fixed. The instant quote you accept is what you pay: fuel, tolls, airport parking, meet and greet, and standard waiting time are all inside the number. Midnight arrival, pouring rain, New Year's Eve, the fare does not move. Airport transfers start at $89, general rides from $75, long-distance from $129.

Can you get us to our cruise ship on time?

Accepted Answer

It is half of what we do. Tell us your ship and sail date and we will recommend a pickup time with a proper buffer for embarkation at PortMiami or Port Everglades. Drivers drop you at your exact terminal, Terminal A for Royal Caribbean, V for Virgin and so on, not just somewhere inside the port.

Do you do long trips, like Key West or Orlando?

Absolutely, they are two of our favourites. Key West is about four hours down the Overseas Highway and works as a day trip or one-way drop; Miami to the Orlando parks is around three and a half hours door to door. Long-distance fares start at $129 and you get an exact quote for your addresses before you book.

Can we fit a family of five with a month of luggage?

Accepted Answer

Easily. The Business SUV takes six passengers and six full-size cases, and the Sprinter van takes fourteen of each if the grandparents are coming too. Tell us your headcount and bag count when booking and we will steer you to the right vehicle rather than upselling you into the biggest one.

Do you have child seats? Ours are in a garage in Melbourne.

Accepted Answer

We do. Infant capsules, toddler seats and boosters are available as an add-on during booking and the driver fits them before pickup. Florida law requires a child restraint up to age five, so flag the ages of your kids and we will have it sorted.

What is the best way to pay from an Australian card?

Accepted Answer

Book online and pay by card at checkout; Australian Visa, Mastercard and Amex all work fine. Payment is processed securely by Stripe in US dollars, so you will see the exact USD amount before confirming and your bank handles the conversion. No cash needed, no ATM run on arrival.

Is booking ahead really better than grabbing an Uber on landing?

After a 14-hour flight, yes. Rideshare at MIA means a walk to a garage pickup zone, a queue, and surge pricing precisely when planes dump 2,000 people into the app at once. Pre-booked means your name on a board, a fixed fare agreed days ago, and a driver who was tracking your flight before you crossed the date line.

Can I book a return trip or several rides at once?

Yes, and we recommend it. Book the airport pickup, the cruise transfer and the ride back in one session, or email bookings@auslimo.com with your full itinerary and we will build the set for you. Round trips can be booked in a single pass through the booking form.

Question 13

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Plans change, especially with connections involved. You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before pickup for standard transfers. Inside 24 hours, get in touch; if your flight was cancelled or rescheduled by the airline we will move the booking rather than charge you for it.

Question 14

Do you run rides that are not airports and cruise ports?

Accepted Answer

All day long. Dinner in Wynwood, a Heat game at the Kaseya Center, golf in Doral, the outlet malls at Sawgrass Mills, or an hourly chauffeur for a day of errands. If it is in South Florida, we drive it, from $75 for city rides.
